Radu Petrache Negoita On my mother's side there was Radu. He was one of my great great grandfathers, too. When he entered the war he was 37 and brought his horse with him. He was a sergeant in the cavalry. One of the battles he was in was the battle of Marasesti. During the war he was awarded the medal of Military Virtue. After the war the Romanian government gave people who fought in the war land so he got some land. |

Radu was born in Stefanesti. He lived for 90 years, from 1879 to 1969. He died in Bucharest. Radu owned a gas station, a grocery store, and a building supply store. He was a religious man and was very important in the community and was in the church council. |

Alexandru Kiraly He was another great great grandfather of mine. He was an architect/builder and he built King Ferdinand I a castle in Transylvania, named Lapusna Castle. |
